Chris (CEO and Founder): The Power of the Internet and AI
For Chris, nothing beats the power of having information at your fingertips.
- “I have to definitely say the Internet and access to information. The Internet is full of two things: terrible, terrible people and incredible information. Now with AI being able to do deep research and really take all of that information and give you really concise answers, just having access to information like that – it’s got to be the most powerful thing we have as a human race.”

Amanda (Vice President): Smart Lighting That Fits Every Mood
Ask Amanda which tech makes a difference at home, and she lights up – pun intended.
- “I will say smart lighting. I have smart lighting in my house. I never thought that it would matter…but I absolutely love having lighting control. I have set scenes for bedtime, turns off all my lights, I’ve got ‘good morning,’ ‘backyard party,’ and all I have to do is push one button. It turns all the lights on in my home exactly how I want them – for entertaining, coming home, groceries, for cooking – anything! So for me, smart lighting is one of the best features of technology in today’s world.”
Automatic, scene-based lighting is Amanda’s must-have for everything from movie nights to midnight snacks.

- Home Automation: “Waking up in the morning, pressing one button to turn on your entire home, lighting a natural path into your kitchen as part of your routine – that’s one of my favorite things.”
- QualSys Alarm Panel: “It’s a wireless security system where the touch panel holds all the brains and wireless/Z-Wave connections. It’s all in one, right on the wall – no more closets!”
- Remote Locks: “If you can open doors for people from your phone, whether it’s a guest or a delivery, that’s pretty amazing.”
- Classic GoBots from the 1980s: Because sometimes, nostalgia and play are the best form of tech inspiration! “They solve all the universe’s problems…and when they all transform, they make this big Megazord that fights the forces of evil.”
- PlayStation, and gaming in general because after a busy day, sometimes you just want to unwind. “Call of Duty is my go-to stress reliever.”
